Introducing an exquisite new limited release: the SAILOR x KAMAWANU Pro Gear Standard fountain pen collection. Born from the theme of "Cherishing Everyday Life," this collaboration brings together Sailor’s celebrated Japanese pen craftsmanship and the heritage textile artistry of Kamawanu. Kamawanu is renowned for its traditional hand-dyed tenugui—versatile Japanese cotton cloths that, much like a fine fountain pen, grow richer in character the more they are used.

The Fugu-tatewaku design is finished in a rich, deep indigo blue patterned with white pufferfish and rising bubble streams inspired by the classic tatewaku pattern, a motif historically celebrated for bringing good fortune. Each pen is accompanied by a matching, authentic Kamawanu tenugui dyed in the exact same heritage pattern.

The pens are the Pro Gear Standard size, and every SAILOR x KAMAWANU pen is fitted with a hand-finished stainless steel nib plated in IP gold, ensuring a smooth and dependable flow. These pens are available across all five nib sizes: Extra Fine (EF), Fine (F), Medium Fine (MF), Medium (M), and Broad (B).

Each set comes presented as a complete, premium gift package housed in an elegant custom box. The packaging beautifully displays both the fountain pen and the folded tenugui side by side beneath a gold-embossed lid, creating an eye-catching presentation for your display cases and an effortless gift solution for your shoppers. Alongside the pen and cloth, each gift box includes an ink cartridge, an instructional booklet, a guide detailing traditional uses for tenugui, and design background notes.

The SAILOR x KAMAWANU collection is limited to just 400 pieces per design worldwide.
